My name is Paul Curtis, I'm in my 40s, and am currently based in the lovely, peaceful village of St Helens on the Isle of Wight.
I was fortunate to have received a private school education but unfortunately never had any real sense of vocation; I spent 15 years working in administration roles for two London-based 'third sector' organisations before being commissioned by Cicerone Press to write "Walking on the Isle of Wight", the second edition of which was published in 2017.
In 2012 I passed with Merit the proofreading course offered by the Publishing Training Centre.
My passion − apart from proofreading of course(!) − is travel, particularly international long-distance hiking and cycle touring.
